Project: Alterations
Architect: Brown Falconer
Project Value: $1.20 Mill

As part of broader facility improvements, Harrold & Kite delivered a series of targeted alterations to enhance both functionality and amenity within the aged care environment.

The reception and waiting areas were upgraded to create a more welcoming and efficient front of house experience for residents, visitors and staff. The adjoining café and connecting corridor were also refurbished to improve comfort, accessibility and encourage a vibrant communal atmosphere.

Key resident areas were enhanced with new flooring and furniture in the dining/server room and chapel/activity room, improving usability and visual appeal. A highlight of the project was the addition of a new cinema, fitted with plush seating to offer residents a quality in-house entertainment experience.

Further upgrades included improvements to the main dining room and courtyard, with refreshed landscaping, paving and outdoor seating to support resident engagement with outdoor spaces. New balustrades were also installed on all balconies to improve safety and modernise the facility’s appearance.

Carefully staged works ensured minimal disruption and resident safety, highlighting Harrold & Kite’s capability in live aged care project delivery.
