Ukaria Cultural Centre

Project: Concert Hall Development
Architect: Anton Johnson
Project Value: $6.20 Mill

Harrold & Kite were proud to deliver this landmark arts and culture project, an architecturally striking concert hall purpose-built for chamber music performance, where acoustic excellence was paramount.

The roof structure combined composite steel and single-span timber beams, creating a visually dynamic form. Small, intricately detailed triangular panels were integrated into the ceiling, each varying in depth to enhance acoustic performance and visual rhythm.

Decorative rammed earth walls were crafted in a wave formation, serving as both an architectural centrepiece and an essential acoustic feature, delivering warmth, texture and sound clarity within the space.

This one-of-a-kind venue reflects Harrold & Kite’s expertise in highly detailed, performance focused cultural projects, delivered with precision and care to meet the demanding expectations of artists, architects and audiences alike.
