Harrold & Kite have celebrated another fantastic result at the 2026 Master Builders SA Building Excellence Awards, with two recently completed projects recognised among South Australia’s best.
The night saw The Pines School Gymnasium named a finalist in the Commercial Building Under $5 Million category, while our Lutheran Homes Group Glynde Refresh project took home the win in the Lifestyle Housing for Seniors – Aged Care Facilities category.
The Pines School Gymnasium – Finalist
Being named a finalist was a fantastic achievement for The Pines School Gymnasium project team and recognition of the quality, attention to detail and collaboration that went into its delivery.
The project has provided the school with a modern, high-quality sporting facility that will support students and the wider school community for many years to come.
Its recognition at the Building Excellence Awards is a credit to everyone who contributed to bringing the project to life.
Lutheran Homes Group Glynde Refresh – Winner
The celebrations continued when the Lutheran Homes Group Glynde Refresh was announced as the winner of the Lifestyle Housing for Seniors – Aged Care Facilities category.
This was a particularly rewarding achievement given the complexity of the project, with extensive refurbishment works delivered within a fully occupied and operational aged care facility.
Working in a live environment required careful planning, close coordination and a strong focus on safety and communication, ensuring disruption to residents, staff and daily operations was kept to a minimum.
The award is a fantastic recognition of the quality of the finished project and the dedication of everyone involved in delivering it.
