Project: Refurbishment and Restoration
Architect: Brown Falconer
Project Value: $5.40 Mill
Harrold & Kite delivered a new three-storey medical centre, constructed with sensitivity behind an existing two-storey heritage building on a tightly constrained site.
The project required care and precision to ensure the new structure complemented the historic character while meeting the operational needs of a modern healthcare facility.
A key priority for the new owners was the restoration of the heritage building. Works included full re-roofing, reinstatement of original verandahs, significant stone repointing, and detailed heritage plasterwork carried out by specialist trades to preserve and enhance the building’s historical integrity.
Landscaping and external treatments were also carefully considered to support the integration of old and new, maintaining a cohesive and respectful site presence.
This project reflects Harrold & Kite’s expertise in blending contemporary construction with detailed heritage restoration, delivering high, quality outcomes in complex, occupied, and sensitive environments.
