Harrold & Kite were appointed as Managing Contractors for the construction of this secluded coastal residence on Kangaroo Island’s remote northern shoreline.
Delivered under a negotiated contract, Harrold & Kite were involved early in the project allowing for a coordinated approach to construction planning and logistical strategy, essential for a build of this complexity in a remote location.
The residence was constructed using a combination of core-filled blockwork and suspended concrete slabs, providing structural resilience while anchoring the building into its coastal environment. Underfloor heating was integrated into the slab construction, ensuring year-round thermal comfort.
This project was built to exacting detail to the highest of standards and was constructed within the client’s time and budget expectations.
