Walford Anglican School for Girls

Project: Benham Building Science Lab Upgrade
Architect: Matthews Architects
Project Value: $2.05 Mill

Harrold & Kite were engaged to undertake a fast-tracked refurbishment of the Benham Building at Walford Anglican School for Girls.

The scope included the upgrade of five existing science laboratories, associated preparation and storage spaces, adjacent general learning areas, and a new meeting room.  A key challenge was the integration of extensive new services essential to the modern laboratory environment.

Through close coordination between services and finishing trades, these were discreetly incorporated to align with the architectural design and meet client expectations.

The project was delivered within an exceptionally tight timeframe, completed entirely over the December school holiday break. Despite the accelerated schedule, it achieved an outstanding standard of quality.

Delivered on time and within budget, the outcome was highly praised by both the client and architect—demonstrating Harrold & Kite’s proven capability in managing complex educational refurbishments under demanding time constraints.
