Project: Redevelopment
Architect: Brown Falconer
Project Value: $2.50 Mill
Harrold & Kite were engaged to deliver the major redevelopment of Keith & District Hospital, converting key areas into an expanded Stirling Lodge Aged Care Facility. The project significantly enhanced aged care capacity and resident amenity while preserving essential hospital functions.
The scope included a new main entrance with undercover drop-off, a café, physiotherapy and hairdresser spaces, a new dining room, and a total of 26 new and refurbished resident living areas with ensuites.
To ensure continuity of care, the redevelopment was delivered in carefully managed stages, allowing for the safe management of existing residents and uninterrupted operation of the hospital, medical centre and nearby helipad.
This project demonstrates Harrold & Kite’s capability in delivering complex health and aged care infrastructure in live environments, balancing high-quality outcomes with safety, staging and operational sensitivity.
